ABIAL  is an active group for accountancy professionals that was set up in 1980. ABIAL provides support and activities for members and students of the UK accountancy bodies who are resident in Luxembourg. The group offers the opportunity to its members to network, make new business contacts and obtain guidance on local issues. Technical events, aimed at all accountants whether in practice, industry, commerce, general management or the public sector, are organised to gain valuable continuing professional development (CPD; CPD certificates issued only for qualifying events, on request by members). Events range from half day Practice Updates to breakfast, lunches or evening events.
